You like horror, vampires, gothic tales and hedonism?
We are like minded.
I've begun to create an illustration serie on the thirteen VtM clan. Why, would you say? Because it pleases me first. I know I'd probably be more popular if I drew Overwatch pin ups, but then, everyone his interest. (this niche is crowded, anyway).
I've always had a fascination for World of Darkness. I'm not even a huge horror fan. At first, the system charmed me. Wait? a RPG that is not centered on combat? Where you can be a social creature? I thought it well written and opened more possibilities than say, DnD. The overarching metaplot was really interesting and spawned a lot of what if and spoof conspiracy theories in my young mind. It's easy to imagine supernatural influence behind some of the local news and past events. That game sparked my imagination and it has been a pleasure to be a Storyteller for so long. For those that do not know, a Storyteller is WoD's version of a Dungeon Master. This choice of word is not merely aesthetical, in world of darkness you spend less time designing dungeons and calibrating ennemies and more time planning story arcs and character motivations. If you are a tabletop RPG aficionado and haven't played this game, try it!
I must admit that while I have done a cWoD theme illustration serie, I am more of a nWoD player (please, succeed on your frenzy check.) Most of it comes from the fact that, as a storyteller, I appreciate the absence of overarching plot and the more carefully balanced game. Requiem runs smoother than Masquerade, in my opinion. And they carefully tried to return to themes more appropriate for the monster you are impersonating. As an example, werewolf passed from the Apocalypse, which was an epic, over the top, fight against cthulhu, to Forsaken, where werewolf are spiritual border patrol, trying to keep balance between their human and spiritual nature while preventing the world from tipping over. Aaaand... this is especially true for the 2nd edition of NWoD games, which are brillantly done.
It's a shame that twilight ternished the vampire image to a point where it is hard to find players
I chose to do a serie on VtM because I probably have an unhealty fascination with dangerous yet sensual entities. That probably explains most of my artworks. That, and that I wanted to play on the sexual metaphore that is a vampire.
If you are interester (which you probably are, since you bore with me until now) you can see these artworks here:
Smutty Vamps!
My love for the world of darkness game serie surprises no one! I would love to do many series. Actually, I have the crazy idea to make an illustration for every clan and faction in the new World of Darkness (not just Requiem). So, you could see illustrations based on Vampire: the Requiem, Mage: The Awakening, Changeling: the Lost, Werewolf: The Forsaken, and so on. Of course, if you would like to finance the project, I invite you to visit the patreon. I'm trying to setup a few interesting rewards for my patreons. If you have any idea of other rewards, feel free to suggest some to me, if you want.

Back in strenght!
Sorry for the hiatus. As you may well know my graphic tablet expired. But now that I have a new one, I'm ready to come back in strenght! As my first artwork with this new tablet I wanted to depict a epic character in my "Soul Weavers" setting. This is a fantasy setting I've been using for a while, but I haven't really taken the time to do artworks about it recently.
On top of that, I am trying to improve my composition and lighting, so I began the practice of thumbnailing. However I can't seem to choose which one to do.
Which one do you prefer?
RIP tablet D:
Oh noes...
My graphic tablet died, and I'm short on cash to buy a new one, so all of my digital painting are on hiatus. This makes me really sad considering I was really eager to finish this piece:
It makes me really sad to have to wait many months before ever painting again. :/ I was waiting to finish this inktober thing so I could get my creative energy back to my digital paintings.
I've been thinking about ways to finance a new tablet... maybe opening crazy cheap (like 5-10$) sketch or ink commissions? If you have any other idea please tell me :) This is going to be a long few months otherwise.

I'm Back!
Hey there!
It's been a while. I moved to a new city (Montreal) to start a new job (3d Animator, yay!). All of it was pretty much precipitated, therefore I had no time for much online presence. Now that the dust has settled down I can resume my art. I'm all cozy and ready to come back, assuming I don't get crushed under piles of crunch periods, which I doubt will happen.
I'm trying to improve some aspects of my art. On my next artwork, Clan Ventrue, I'll try to improve my composition. I like giving me challenges and things to work in each artworks. I've found a really interesting tutorial on youtube which was really helpful (to refresh my me

I'll admit nWoD runs waaay better than classic, but I do miss the end of days theme presented in the original one.
....Changeling would be very interesting tbh
